- Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
- Smiles, provides exceptional customer service and always treats guests and coworkers with respect.
- Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to specifications and serves them in an orderly and timely fashion.
- Ensure the guest is 21 or older before serving alcoholic beverages by accurately checking the guest ID.
- Knowledgeable in the products the company serves.
- Properly operates the point of sales system, accounts for all service items, and keeps a balanced bank.
- Understanding salesmanship and customer service is what makes this position successful for the company and the team members.
- Ability to uphold great communication with guests, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations.
- Sets and keeps workstations and casino floor areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized.
- Serves drinks, greets guests, busses and runs drinks, does side work, plus any other normal functions required to service our guests under normal operating conditions.
- Communicates all guest service opportunities and product shortages or issues to management.
- Knows and complies with all rules, regulations, and policies of the food and beverage department.
- Follows the company’s attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations outlined in the handbook.
- Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the departmental leaders.
- Must abide by all state and local liquor laws.
- Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party
- Ensure customer service standards are met and retained.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1 year of Cocktail Server experience in a fast-paced environment, is required.
- Food Handler Certification is required.
- High School Diploma/GED, required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have basic mathematical skills.
- Hep A vaccination on, or before, the first day of work
- Must be able to work Weekends, Nights and Holidays
- Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License
