Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing administrative support and exceptional patient service in a dental office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess knowledge of dental terminology.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience

- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar

- Verify patient insurance coverage and process insurance claims

- Collect and record patient information, including medical history and personal details

- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about dental services

- Assist with billing and financial transactions, including processing payments

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist preferred

- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or other dental software

- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and dental staff

- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus

Hours would be Monday 8:00 am -6:00 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. There is the possibility for additional hours on Wednesdays when patients are not in the office.
