Overview
Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health & Science Charter School is seeking a certified, or on the pathway to certification, and experienced Science teacher (physics, environmental science) to provide instruction to our high school students. Science Teachers must be able to demonstrate planning and preparation, instructional skills; effective classroom management and be motivated to engage in continuous professional development. Under the general supervision of the Principal, teachers work collaboratively with other teachers within their department and across other content areas.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time 10-month position. The regular hours and workdays are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in addition to any special events to which all staff are expected to attend.
Salary Range
$70,000 - $110,000 annually
