**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide support to medical professionals in a clinical setting, ensuring efficient patient care.
**Duties:**
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of a physician
- Record patient information in electronic health records
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Educate patients about their care plans and medications
- Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
**Qualifications:**
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting. Appropriate job experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience with patient care in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Ability to perform Phlebotomy is a plus
