Job Title: Swimming Pool Technician

Location: Marrillville, IN

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST

Position Overview:
DR Installs, located in Joliet, Illinois, is seeking a skilled Swimming Pool Technician to join our team. The Swimming Pool Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing swimming pools, spas, and related equipment for our clients. The ideal candidate must possess excellent English and Spanish language skills, hold a valid driver's license, demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, exhibit leadership abilities, self-efficiency, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. A GED diploma or technician degree is required, along with experience in plumbing and pool service. The candidate should be comfortable with the STAR interview methodology and have the ability to lift more than 50lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on swimming pools, spas, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pool systems and equipment.
• Install and replace pool pumps, filters, heaters, and other components.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry.
• Clean and vacuum pools and spas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain services and address any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and inventory.
• Coordinate with team members and management to ensure efficient operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Excellent English and Spanish language skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong leadership abilities and self-efficiency.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• GED diploma or technician degree.
• Experience in plumbing and pool service.
• Ability to lift more than 50lbs.
