Dr. Bawa and Associates is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner Near Destin, FL

Duties:
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients 18 years old or older
- Conduct physical examinations and perform diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses
- Administer medications, including injections and intravenous therapy
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care
- Provide specialized care in areas such as pediatrics or dermatology
- Utilize electronic health record systems, such as Athena, to document patient encounters and manage medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area of Primary care
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic evaluations and interpreting test results
- Strong medication administration skills, including knowledge of dosage calculations and potential side effects
- Experience with minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care
- Specialized knowledge in areas of dermatology and BHRT is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Athena Health or similar platforms

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 – 40 per week
