Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wound care management and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute or chronic wounds
- Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current on advances in wound care management practices

Experience:
- Prior experience in wound care management is preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration and wound dressing techniques
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding related to wound care
- Experience working in settings such as nursing homes, urgent care, ambulatory surgery centers, internal medicine practices, or dementia care facilities is beneficial
- Understanding of physiology and sonography as they relate to wound healing
