DPK is seeking assistants to work alongside our experienced Land Survey Crew Chiefs. No experience is needed for this job except to a desire to learn, work outside, and be interested in learning a career-based trade. Essential Functions:

• Set survey and construction control points
• Operate field survey equipment
• Maintain field equipment
• Desire to learn and make a career in the land surveying profession
• Prepare field notes, photographs and sketches
• Participate in Health and Safety Program

Work Environment: A professional outdoor environment

Physical Demands:

• Full physical activity
• Carry equipment
• Install wood stakes, iron bars, concrete monuments into the ground
• Lift drainage covers
• Open Monitoring Well covers

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full-time position, 40-50 hours per week plus opportunities for overtime

Travel: Some jobs may require overnight stay

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience in surveying is not required
• High School graduate
• Valid and clean driver’s license
