Purpose of Job:
Technical support resource for various clinical functions including implementation, support and development of the clinical modules of the MEDITECH system and, programming and interface support for clinical applications integrated into MEDITECH or related to clinical operations. Remote work available per hospital policy.
Essential Functions
35% Applications Software Support.
25 % System Optimization.
25% Problem-Solving Skills.
10% Adapt Technology to Business Unit Needs.
5% Communicate progress for requests for service to meet
the MIS department's service level agreement
Job Qualifications:
IV. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates
Degree in Information Systems with 2-3 years experience
in Allied Health or Nursing OR Associates degree in
Allied Health or Nursing with 2-3 years experience in
Information Systems OR 2-3 years of clinical healthcare experience. Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience: Specific knowledge of MEDITECH clinical applications,
NPR report writing experience preferred.
Clinical healthcare background is essential. Preferred
candidate will be able to demonstrate a combination of
above education and experience in both information
systems and Allied Health in a hospital setting.
Skill sets desired but not required include desk-side user support; end-user training in a classroom environment; demonstrated experience interacting with all levels of end-users; knowledge of industry-specific hardware and software applications (e.g., Microsoft); the ability to function effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
