Dental Front Office Receptionist Job Description

• Experience with dental or medical billing required
• Experience in a dental office required
• Works well in a team environment
• Self motived and friendly disposition
• Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
• Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephone reminders.
• Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine patients co-payments.
• Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
• Friendly and professional customer service
• Make referrals, as needed
• Verify and bill Insurance
• Collect and Post payments from patients
• Schedule and call patients
• Other related duties, as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
