Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly
- Prepare and mix a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes
- Ensure accurate cash handling and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-serving
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquet events
- Follow proper procedures for opening and closing the bar
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks
- Familiarity with banquet operations is a plus
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong cash handling abilities with accuracy in calculating bills and making change
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices
