Americana Art Enterprises (AAE) has been in business for 20 years and is the parent company of several brands, including Boardwalk, Dowdle, Disney Dowdle, and The Story Guild. Working with a studio of artists, we create works of art to manufacture high-end gift items: prints and canvas art, high-end traditional puzzle collections, quality wood puzzles, home décor items, etc. Our products are available on our website at www.dowdlefolkart.com and other respected retail locations.

AAE has an opening for a Sales Executive position. This person would focus primarily on manufacturing, production, and private-label orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

⦁ Understand and evaluate manufacturing capabilities and functions in the production department.

⦁ Collaborate with company department heads on opportunities for manufacturing development, strategies, and growth in current and future deals.

⦁ Be a self-starter who wants to generate revenue, identify market potential, initiate the sales process, close sales, and expand sales in existing accounts.

⦁ Stay up to date with developments in the marketplace to identify new sources of manufacturing opportunities and growth.

⦁ Develop in-depth knowledge of and widely promote the company’s manufacturing capabilities for private label production and develop strategies to grow customer opportunities.

⦁ Submit weekly reports.

⦁ Be a team player.

⦁ Full-time position.

Knowledge and Skill Qualifications:

⦁ A minimum of three years of experience in a similar sales role is required.

⦁ Ability to initiate conversation, reach prospects, create interest, and present proposals to decision-makers and senior executives in leading companies and trades.

⦁ Be creative in product development.

⦁ Self-starter and creative thinker with the ability to motivate others.
