Classification 4 Paraprofessionals are expected to perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to working with children in groups or one-on-one, work under the direction of the Title I Coordinator, Instructional Coach, supervising teacher, and/or principal, and will be assigned clerical and supervisory tasks. Classification 4 Paraprofessionals will be exposed to confidential information and must maintain confidentiality. All Classification 4 Paraprofessionals must work cooperatively with staff members. 1.
Provide speech and language skills to students individually or in groups. Travel throughout the district is mandatory. 2. Follow prepared lesson plans for each student and carry them out according to goals set for the student.
3. Preparations of materials to be used in lessons. 4. Provide input to teacher regarding student progress for each reporting period.
5. Communicate with team concerning student progress, attendance, and other areas affecting student performance. 6. Meet with speech pathologist, as needed, to discuss student needs.
7. Assist with screening of students for services. 8. Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the administrator and classroom teacher.
