Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Agent at DoubleTree Deerfield Beach, FL, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests and visitors. This includes greeting and checking in guests, handling reservations and inquiries, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of each guest's stay. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Hospitality/Restaurant industry located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This role reports to the Front Office Manager and is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring prompt and accurate service
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel, its services, and local attractions
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications in accordance with hotel policies
- Manage and process all guest payments and follow proper cash handling procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all front desk reports and paperwork
- Handle and resolve guest concerns and complaints, escalating to the Front Office Manager as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and public spaces
- Assist with various hotel duties, such as concierge services, luggage assistance, and light cleaning tasks
- Adhere to all hotel and brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent guest experience and overall hotel operations
- Attend trainings and meetings as required to stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and services
Requirements:
-Hotel Front Desk Experience Preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of previous front desk or customer service experience in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy and experience with hotel property management systems (PMS)
- Knowledge of local area and attractions
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
