Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and organized Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and materials. Your responsibilities will include fleet management, transportation planning, and dispatching duties. If you have excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of drivers and vehicles for timely deliveries - Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery - Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure efficient logistics operations - Utilize GIS (Geographic Information System) software to optimize routes and minimize transportation costs - Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including data entry of shipment details - Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates on delivery status - Assist with supply chain management by monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers - Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during transportation operations Skills: - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of fleet management principles and practices - Proficiency in transportation planning and logistics operations - Experience with GIS software for route optimization is a plus - Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of supply chain management processes is beneficial If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for logistics, we encourage you to apply.
