Overview:
Double Flag Coffee Co. is a Tulsa-based company that is owned and operated by University United Methodist Church. We are currently running operations out of our exceptional 20' trailer (mostly at Expo events) and are in the process of growing the business to include a brick and mortar location.
We are looking for a reliable barista that can easily master our drink offerings while managing register duties and customer service.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes and standards
- Operate the POS system to process customer orders accurately
- Handle cash transactions and provide customers with correct change
- Provide excellent customer service by helping customers with menu choices and answering questions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Experience:
- Previous experience in a coffee shop or similar environment is preferred
- Strong cash handling skills
- Basic math skills for calculating orders and handling money
- Knowledge of food industry practices and hygiene standards
- Sales skills to promote products and upsell to customers
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Must have a Tulsa County food handlers permit
