OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Manager/Barista to perform all the duties of Barista, and to help oversee all aspects of our front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, exceptional customer service skills, and a knack for driving sales.

DUTIES

- Help ensure day-to-day operations of the café and ensuring quality service.

- Interacting directly with customers

- Preparing coffee and espresso-based beverages

- Describing, selling, and boxing chocolates

- Preparing chocolates for sale

- Restocking and maintaining retail areas

- Plating and serving upscale dessert

- Bussing and cleaning tables

- Cleaning all aspects of the dining room and restrooms

- Washing dishes

- Assisting with the cleanup and maintenance of back-of-house areas

- Serving plated meals for special events

- Serving beer and wine

- Monitor and maintain café cleanliness and organization.

- Handle cash transactions and manage financial aspects of the café.

- Implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability.

- Assist Chef with preparing limited food items.

EXPERIENCE

- Proven experience in a front-of-house role within the food industry.

- Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills.

- Strong time management skills to effectively oversee multiple tasks.

- Familiarity with Square POS system is a plus.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Must have a Tulsa Food Handler's card and an Oklahoma ABLE License
