Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

Although we have different departments we operate as a cohesive team. We are driven to provide our patients and provider offices with the best experience the Dottie’s Pharmacy Team can offer. These specialized services we offer to provider offices takes some of the taxing work load off of them and makes for a smother prescription process for the patient. This Pharmaceutical Sales Representative position would be directly engaging with Providers and healthcare staff within the office to educate them on all the medications we specialize in as well as the additional services we offer. You would be selling the Dottie’s Pharmacy team’s knowledgeable staff and our excellent skills and services to Provider Offices as well as educating them on the wide range of products we carry that can serve their entire patient’s needs.

This position is for a Full-Time Pharmaceutical Sales Representative that is intrigued to learn and be challenged with a rare opportunity to promote an entire Pharmacy and our services. Challenge yourself with a thrilling opportunity to learn about many different types of medications and how promoting a top-notch Pharmacy team will be a pleasant change of routine from previous pharmaceutical sales experience. With our stellar service and track record for quality patient care and provider services, we are a URAC Accredited Specialty Pharmacy with very high standards that are upheld throughout the pharmacy as a whole. This position would be targeting a customer base of healthcare providers and informing them how our highly experienced staff can help them and their patients. While the task is maintaining the relationships and connections made, additional attention should be given to looking for new provider office opportunities. This position will be comprised of sales calls, meetings with providers/ healthcare professionals, and presentations to explain and promote the Pharmacy and our services while using our approved marketing materials.
Full Time

· Evenings/weekend schedule as needed (typically based on hosting events)
· Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel
The main focus of the coverage territory will be South Carolina. To a lesser degree, some parts of North Carolina and Georgia will require attention. Occasionally there may be required coverage to other areas as well since we are licensed in the following states: VA, NC, SC, GA, FL.
· Proven ability to understand disease states, patient profiles, and treatment pathways to articulate and routinely present complex scientific information, required
· Technology needs: proficiency using Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and Excel

· Delivers effective on-label technical and scientific presentations/sales calls utilizing approved data and resources
· Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers in the territory to enhance company and/or product loyalty, build, and expand the Pharmacy’s Brand recognition.
· Calling on assigned territory healthcare providers and informing those healthcare providers about the features and benefits of our Pharmacy Team and Services.
· Promote and educate targeted physicians/healthcare providers on the use of company products and services through one-on-one meetings and group presentations, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other company-approved means
· Educate, develop, and maintain strong relationships with assigned territory healthcare providers and their staff, to further the progress of the company business.
· Possesses and demonstrates strong business acumen and decision making and can develop a territory based on market insights and drivers to positively impact sales within the assigned territory.
· Delivers information relevant and uniquely tailored to each customer through pre-call preparation and post-call planning to maximize customer engagement
· Deliver clinically focused sales messages to introduce, launch, grow business to consistently deliver on product(s) sales goals
· Accurately report/submit sales call activities, territory expenses and written reports regularly and within the deadline as defined by the Pharmacy Owners
· Expected to achieve territory sales goals by executing their assigned and approved territory Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies and promotion for portfolio of products and services.
