DoorDash, Inc. is Hiring a Demand Planning Manager Near St. Louis, MO

About the Team

DashMart is a new team at DoorDash focused on building a new type of convenience store, offering both household essentials and local restaurant favorites to our customers’ doorsteps. 

About the Role

We’re looking to hire a Demand Planning Manager who will lead our forecasting logic and configuration settings within our new Relex integration. They will ensure the products our customers want get to our fulfillment centers at the right time and in the right quantity. They will work with the Product & Engineering teams, Data Science & Machine Learning, Finance, and Operations to build tooling and reporting to scale our business. The Manager will report into the Supply Chain Manager on our Inventory & Supply Chain team in our DashMart organization.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Develop a deep understanding of the DashMart business and supply chain
  • Build, develop, and manage the forecasting configurations within the Relex system
  • Analyze performance data, assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data
  • Participate in and lead cross-functional meetings with engineering, product, design, operations, finance, and marketing to improve this new business function for DoorDash

  • You have 5-8 years of experience. You've succeeded in high-performance cultures (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).
  • You have 2 years of people management experience. You know how to lead a team and empower them to do their best work.
  • You're analytical. You let data win arguments, and you're comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel.
  • You have a proven track record of leading initiatives, working cross-functionally to achieve goals, and succeeding in a team environment
  • You are detail-oriented and organized
  • You have effective written and verbal communication skills

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $136,935 - $185,265, plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
