Job Title: Process Improvement Analyst
Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 (based on qualifications)
Position Summary
This position is responsible for analyzing, assessing, and optimizing organizational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for enhancement, conduct data-driven analysis, and recommend solutions to streamline operations.

Main Responsibilities/Essential Functions
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilize various process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis to assess and evaluate processes.
  • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to process performance, cycle times, quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilize statistical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and root causes contributing to process inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, pain points, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and propose innovative solutions, process redesigns, and workflow optimizations to address identified issues and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving overall business performance.
  • Support project teams in defining project scope, objectives, and success criteria, and contribute to the development of implementation plans.
  • Monitor and track progress against established improvement targets and objectives, and provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and initiatives, and identify opportunities for further refinement and enhancement.
  • Document process improvements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Maintain accurate records of process changes, project documentation, and lessons learned to facilitate continuous learning and improvement.

What You Need
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies is a plus
  • Proven experience in process analysis, business process improvement, or related roles, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel; PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-making and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in using statistical analysis tools and software applications (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Tableau) to analyze data and generate insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Physical Demands
  • Medium work. Medium work involves exserting no more than 50 pounds of force at a time, with frequent exertion of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, gross/fine manipulation, driving, kneeling, crawling, and climbing may be required. Physical demand requirements are more than those for Light Work.
