Working Conditions: As a medication Technician at Dominion Senior Living, the position involved providing medication assistance, emotion support, and care to residents in a compassionate and often physically demanding environment.
Physical Demands: The physical requirements for a Medication Technician includes the ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods during shifts. Also, lift, push, or pull moderate to heavy objects, including assisting residents with mobility and transfers. Bend, stoop, and kneel as necessary to provide care and administer medications. Use fine motor skills and dexterity to handle medications and medical equipment. Perform tasks that may require physical stamina, especially when assisting residents with activities of daily living. Maintain overall physical wellness to meet the demands of the job and respond to emergencies promptly.

What does it mean to be a PRN Team Member at Dominion? PRN Team Members
PRN Team Members work a limited number of hours and are scheduled on an “as needed” basis during peak workload times and when staffing and/or scheduling issues warrant PRN Team Members are not eligible for company-provided benefits or paid holidays.
PRN Team Members Shift Refusals Not responding to five attempts to pick up a PRN shift will be deemed as an unwillingness to work and will be treated as a voluntary resignation without notice, unless there is sufficient evidence of an emergency that prevented communication.
