We’re currently hiring Assemblers on 2nd shift (2 : 00pm-10 : 00pm 3 : 30pm-12 : 00am 4 : 30pm-1 : 00pm 5 : 30pm-2 : 00am).

Compensation for these temp-to-hire positions is $20.01 per hour.

What an Assembler will do at Polaris :

• Safely use and operate various tools including power tools, hoists, and production equipment
• Maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift with focus on quality (i.e., within applicable quality standards)
• Accurately complete paperwork required for production records
• Ability to read, understand, and follow established processes and instructions
• Follow all safety rules and regulations strictly and maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Participate in continuous improvement process
• Perform duties assigned by Supervisor and / or Group Leader

What you need to be an Assembler at Polaris :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Work overtime as required and mandated by production schedules
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push / pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and reach overhead continuously
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must successfully completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens
• Must successfully completion of pre-employment training process
