Inventory Coordinator Job Description

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible to confirm receipt of materials and update ERP systems accordingly while also assisting in the warehouse front office. Alcohol is an ingredient in the products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules, or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.

What an Inventory Coordinator will do:

• Monitor customer-scheduled production across all production lines
• Verify production numbers on all runs upon completion
• Work cross-departmentally to troubleshoot issues with inventory variances, deficiencies, and other issues
• Coordinate and perform regular inventory counts of raw materials and finished goods as required by customers and the company
• Document and update discrepancies in the ERP system as well as issue new tags/reprint tag
• Verify clerical computations against the physical count of the product and adjust errors in computation or count, or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies
• Evaluate and address issues with finished goods LPNs that come off the line during production runs
• Notify accounting of which production orders are ready for invoicing to the customer
• Troubleshoot issues with missed scans on finished goods and resolve promptly so as not to negatively impact production

What you need to be an Inventory Coordinator:

• 3 years of warehouse/forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extensive periods with or without reasonable accommodations
• Good understanding of inventory control
• Regular bending, stooping, and lifting up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Willingness to work around noise, dust, variable temperatures, and use of production chemicals
• Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and operate forklifts and computers
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers, and visitors
