What a Fryer Operator will do:

• Ensure that process data from the Blancher, Fryer, and Sapp/Sugar Dip system are monitored
• Ensure that the oil system is operated safely and correctly to maintain proper filtration and free fatty acid levels (FFA)
• Ensure the preparation of additives and monitor their flow into the transfer system
• Perform required fry-ups and take Agtron color measurements to make any necessary color adjustments
• Ensure SAPP, Sugar, and Free Fatty Acid tests are conducted to maintain levels at target values
• Monitor the blancher circulation system and flush/unplug system as necessary
• Consistently check all equipment to ensure they are fully functional

What you need to be a Fryer Operator:

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
• Willingness to work with hazardous and corrosive chemicals in small areas
• Proficient in computer system data entry
• Ability to maneuver in close quarters and climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks regularly with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull a minimum of 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
