What an Assembler will do:
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, or other fasteners
- Use engineering prints/drawings, routing sheets, settings specifications, hand tools and fixtures, and test benches to assist in assembly operation
- Assemble parts per print; then package and move the products to the shipping department for further processing
- Set up and test assembled products and sub-assemblies per specification
What you need to be an Assembler:
- Must have experience with hand tools such as socket wrenches, drills, and drivers
- Must be comfortable using computers
