Dog Gone Holistic is an award-winning natural pet market proudly serving our four-legged friends and their two-legged parents in the greater Tampa Bay area since 2008. We have two well-appointed stores located in FishHawk Ranch (Lithia) and Summerfield Square (Riverview).

We're seeking a part-time sales associate to join our fur-loving team. Join us at our bustling Riverview location to improve the health of every four-legged friend that walks through our doors. You will work a limited amount at our Lithia store.

Our typical day is spent consulting concerned pet parents about their pet's health issues. We listen with compassion and find solutions that better the lives of both animals and their humans alike.

About you, our purr-fect candidate:

• LOVES animals - you're not shy about belly rubs, wet nose kisses, and tail wags to the face.
• Loves people (almost as much) - customer service is your middle name. You approach and engage humans with the same enthusiasm as you do their furry companions.
• Hungry for knowledge - you have a genuine curiosity for information; particularly of the pet health/fitness/nutrition variety. A lot of learning is a big part of the job.
• Tech-savvy/PC literate - you search the web effectively, and can print, scan, and copy documents.
• Bit of a neat freak - you find yourself re-arranging and reorganizing things for fun.
• Cash-handling - you can open, close, and accurately hand change to a customer.
• Customer service experience - greeting and assisting customers in retail or other setting.
• Pet owner - having and caring for pet(s) yourself will help you relate to our customers
• Self-Starter - after a few weeks at our store, you should be able to recognize when something needs to be done and jump in and do it!
• This position can be quite strenuous at times and requires heavy lifting (40lb range) and spending your shift on your feet.
