Dodge Mechanical Power Transmission is Hiring a SAP Solution Architect Near Simpsonville, SC
- Provide support for existing engineering programs and transactions within a highly customized SAP ERP environment.
- Work closely with engineering to understand current processes and define future requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and work closely with IT to design and implement SAP and non-SAP solutions to fulfill business needs.
- Serve as project manager on small - medium sized new automation projects.
- Work with Business Process Owners (BPO) for other functional areas of the core team to ensure seamless transition of data across all areas of the business.
- Lead the development of training documentation for engineering processes and applications.
- Support day-to-day engineering activities by providing assistance with mass loads & updates, troubleshooting errors, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Management / Technology, or related field (computer science, information science, software engineering, etc.) AND 10 years of experience OR Master’s degree in the same AND 8 years of experience.
- A Master’s Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.
- A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience
- 5 years direct experience with SAP.
- Strong understanding of SAP ABAP desired.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies desired.
- Prior experience with computer programming; C#, VB.net, VBA preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading small to medium sized projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience with the integration of 3rd party software solutions within SAP.
- Experience with SAP Engineering Control Center is considered a plus.
- Highly collaborative, results oriented, self-starter.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit with passion for ideas.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the US.
