Dodge Construction Network is Hiring a Training Program Specialist Near Hamilton, NJ

Description

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is searching for a Training Program Specialist to join our team!

The Training Program Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering effective training content to train both new and current data acquisition team members. This person will conceptualize and write lesson plans, host training classes on various topics and help staff members learn new skills that can help them grow and develop. Their training classes should align with the company's mission,values and goals, and strive to reflect the company culture in their programs.

This position reports directly to the Director of Data Acquisition.

Location

This is a remote role and candidates can be located anywhere in the U.S.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create, design and implement engaging training programs for adult learners with various learning styles, incorporating adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Create, develop and implement training materials including procedural documents and videos tailored to the needs of multiple roles to include learning checkpoints or assessments to measure understanding of retention
  • Align training initiatives to cross team organizational objectives ensuring that learning outcomes contribute to overall business goals
  • Collaborate with team leaders to identify training needs by assessing knowledge and skills gaps within various internal teams
  • Demonstrate effective facilitation of training sessions, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques to keep participants engaged and involved
  • Create and conduct engaging live and recorded training sessions via various online platforms, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all participants
  • Assess learning outcomes using data and feedback to refine content and delivery for continuous improvement
  • Provide ongoing support by being accessible to all team members for questions and assistance with any problems that arise during training or while performing job duties
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Instructional Design, or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of formal training or demonstrated experience in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles preferred
  • Training certifications preferred
  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of various teaching methods and approaches preferred
  • Strong analytical skills for ROI assessment and impact evaluation on KPIs
  • Understanding of effective communication methodologies and tools
  • Proficient in MS Office as well as learning management systems
  • Strong communication, engagement, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Passion for continuous learning

Salary Disclosure

Annual Base Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 USD

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors. DCN's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
