Position Summary

Reporting to the Emergency Director of Patient Care Services/Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.

Position Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• 5 year’s current ED/Trauma experience
• License/Certificates/Credentials must always remain current:
  • California RN license
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • ENPC
  • MICN
  • Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education module within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit and must maintain thereafter
  • CEN preferred

Pay Range: $64.77 - $95.87 hourly
