Doctor’s Data, Inc. has been providing extensive patient elemental testing for over 40 years. We have a position opening for a senior level ICP-MS Operator/Analyst. The position involves quantifying total elemental concentrations in blood, hair, or urine using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Be involved in processing, developing, and validating analytical methods to detect human exposure to inorganic chemicals.

This is a full time, second shift position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate Agilent -8900 ICP-QQQ analyzers for multi-element analysis (e.g. cadmium, lead, mercury, and arsenic)
• Perform optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Have an understanding of quality control and quality processes such as those required by CLIA 88.
• Maintain efficient workflow of large volume patient testing

Job Requirements

Bachelors, masters or doctoral degree in chemistry or related field required. At least 1 year of analytical and/or clinical experience is required. Experience with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is not a requirement, but is advantageous, as well is a strong background in instrument maintenance, solution preparation, and Microsoft Excel. Require professional and effective written and oral communication skills.
