DocStar Medical Partners is in need of a locum Optometrist in Modesto, CA for 3-6 months starting in June.

• Work Schedule: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM but will also consider part time as well. Part time preference would be T/W/F. Provider will be working 1 day/week in Merced as well (which is about 45 min from McHenry location)
• Patient Volume: 18/21 is average, however, there is a no show rate of 10-20%
• Procedures:
• General exams (no contacts)
• Provider will not have to do contact lenses or fittings
• Need them to see as young as 8 years old - they do have quite a few younger kids.
• EMR: Epic
• License Needed: CA license required
• Certifications Needed: BC Optometry or truly BE with proof of eligibility
• Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: Must be confident and able to work solo
• Other additional pertinent information:
• 1 MA (goal is to have 1.5 MA's, they are hiring more
• 1 PSR (Patient services Rep/Front desk person) Appointments are scheduled through their call center in Atwater, CA
