Building Diagnostics/Technical Sales Representative/Project Manager

Job Summary

In this key role leading to senior management responsibilities, the Representative will be mentored by the President on the techniques for evaluating building performance, developing cost proposals, and submitting them to the customer for approval and conversion into profitable contracts for performance improvements by DocAir project teams. The target market for DocAir services includes but is not limited to homeowners, realtors, attorneys, and property managers.

The Representative will respond to requests from customers through a process sequence of 1) visiting the site residence or building; 2) gathering preliminary information from the customer and developing rapport; 3) conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the building and grounds to look for defects, operational problems, or opportunities for improvement; and 4) developing a compelling cost proposal for ultimate approval by the customer. The Sales Representative will be part of a collaborative team of diagnosticians and site project personnel.

Primary Job Description

• Developing rapport with customers and identifying their needs
• Conducting a practical and scientifically valid forensic evaluation
• Developing a pragmatic response consistent with customer’s best interests and desires
• Communicating the recommended response by telephone, in person, and in a written proposals
• Consummating the proposal and converting it into a project assignment
• Ensuring that customer has experienced a superlative outcome in terms of building improvement and project team performance.
• Monitoring profitability of project assignments
• Continually looking for and identifying opportunities for performance improvement

Educational Requirements and Qualifications

• Four year degree
• Excellent grasp of physical sciences
• Strong forensic skills
• Ability to manage and motivate
