**Description**

**JOB SUMMARY**

We are seeking a **Laboratory Receiving Clerk** to coordinate sample receipt and accurate log-in with all Doble Laboratories across the country. This position is to help balance the workload between the laboratories and obtaining the information on testing requirements to make sure the sample are at the right location.

This full-time position is first shift, Monday through Friday, and will be located in our corporate headquarters in **Marlborough, MA** reporting to the Laboratory Services Director.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**

* Log, route, ship, and track outbound orders.

* Accurately perform data entry in a timely manner.

* Facilitate and expedite the flow of samples to and from various Laboratories.

* Input sample identifications and have them checked by members within the department.

* Support syringe shipments and lab secretary positions.

* Distribute and shelve supplies.

* Adhere to all Company safety and security policies and procedures.

* Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

* Other related duties as assigned by Laboratory Manager and Vice President of Laboratory Services.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**EDUCATION:**

High school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:**

* Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and Doble laboratory standard operating procedures

* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

* Shipping and receiving experience preferred

* Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use fax machines, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers and customers. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job. Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds.
