Local Unit & Position Description

DNV – Energy’s Green Power Monitor group seeks a Customer Success Team Leader - North America to join our team. At Green Power Monitor, we offer products and services in the renewable energy sector, specifically focusing on the photovoltaic, wind, and energy storage space, as we are a global technology solutions provider for the renewable energy industry.

Customer Success Team Leader - North America is the Service Engineers' leader, the company’s direct point of contact with the client for all operational projects, and is the internal customer advocate. Those individuals are the subject matter experts regarding the company hardware devices, software tools, functionality, and customization capabilities.This position will be in our GreenPowerMonitor office in Austin, TX.What You’ll Do

  • Manage the KPIs of the team in order to deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Supervise and promote the work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customer’s problem
  • Being responsible for ensuring prompt responses to customers either via phone calls, video conferences, or email
  • Occasional travel and visits to key customer locations may be required
  • Engage with customers by organizing training sessions to empower customers to be self-sufficient and other activities that add value to the relationship between companies
  • Use company literature and available training resources to stay up to date on product/service features

Position Qualifications

What is Required

  • Minimum of Associate degree required
  • Minimum of three years experience in assisting clients
  • Working knowledge of prevalent North American inverter and wind turbine brands
  • Understanding of SCADA and Data Acquisition Systems solutions
  • Proficient in networking (IP, Ethernet, FO, Routing, LAN...) and Industrial Communication Protocols (ModBus, DNP3, IEC104, OPC...)
  • Ability to read, understand, and edit electrical CAD drawings for renewable energy projects
  • Comfortable working in outdoor environments as needed
  • Occasional training sessions at GPM office locations required
  • Must possess a valid Passport without international travel restrictions
  • Must be a comfortable working hybrid
  • NFPA 70E Arc Flash Training, optional
  • NABCEP certification, current or previous, optional
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening

What is Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Direct knowledge of competing products, specifically AlsoEnergy, NorCal Controls, Power Factors, WonderWare, or other
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Python, Javascript, Visio, and others
  • Spanish speaking and writing will be a plus
