DNV careers is Hiring a QHSE Program Audit Manager Near Medford, MA

DNV Energy Systems is seeking a QHSE program audit manager who is responsible for managing the DNV Energy Systems audit program and providing recommendations for improvement.

This role can be based out of any of our DNV office locations.

What You’ll do

  • Management of project audit program, including design, resource development, scheduling, and quality assurance.
  • Sharing of lessons learned across the organization.
  • Management of HSE vetting of subcontractors
  • Lead a large number of project audits
  • Develop audit skills within the region
  • Assemble audit team with auditors from service areas and regional functions
  • Ensure quality and quantity of project audits are achieved
  • Lead the more complex audits and ensure audits, in general, are executed with sufficient quality
  • Review project plans, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations
  • Conduct audits on project processes, procedures, and documentation to verify compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Identify, analyze, and report on project risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare and present audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to project managers and senior management
  • Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with project teams and other auditors to share knowledge, insights, and best practices
  • Evaluate and validate the qualifications, capabilities, and performance of current and future project vendors and contractors

What Is required

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • At least three years of experience in project auditing, project management, or project quality assurance
  • Certification in project management, auditing, or quality management is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
