JOB DESCRIPTION

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the facility and its surroundings by cleaning, disinfecting and performing routine procedures that ensures a clean, odor free, and safe environment.

JOB DUTIES

Provide cleaning and house organizing services for large private executive home; Responsible for cleaning rooms to the highest of standards; Prepare & clean rooms & bathrooms, Laundry responsibilities include folding, washing, & drying sheets & towels. Reporting maintenance items to owners and general house management items.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Highly motivated individual who will take initiative to solve problems, assume responsibility, and meet deadlines
• Creative, organized, thorough, professional, able to handle interruptions, balance multiple and varied tasks
• Knowledge of safety awareness and cleaning procedures
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Eligible to work in the United States

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Provides a clean, odor free, and safe environment for residents

· Proactively maintains assigned areas and equipment

· Completes weekly assignments in a timely manner through daily work schedules

· Cleans, sanitizes and disinfects resident rooms

· Maintains all equipment and uses supplies efficiently

· Reports all safety and housekeeping concerns to house manager/owners· Assists with annual deep cleanings of resident houses and office· Completes additional cleaning projects as scheduled.

· Maintaining assigned areas in an orderly and attractive manner

· Ensuring that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times

· Submitting maintenance items to house manager/owner as needed

· Taking initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

· High School diploma or GED

· 1 year of housekeeping/cleaning experience

· Valid Driver’s License

· Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job

· Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public

· Background check required

This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering competitive base wage.
