As a DevOps Engineer, you’re the bridge between Software Engineering and IT, focusing on the delivery, reliability, and scalability of our products.

Job Description: The DevOps Engineer’s primary responsibility is the efficiency and reliability of our product
deployment channels: collaborating closely with Software Engineering and IT teams to understand technical
requirements, and the building, delivery, and support of robust delivery pipelines.
More than just build and release management, this role requires skilled blending of a variety of technologies, staying on top of industry trends, and exploration of how new or different technology can be securely integrated – from security and vulnerability scanning to entirely new technology stacks.

Responsibilities:
-Design, build, and support delivery pipelines for new and existing software products
-Work closely with Software Engineers to understand technical requirements for software products, and communicate
environmental changes affecting the build or product environments
-Conduct regular reviews of the build and release environments for monthly / quarterly audit, and participate in annual
Security Risk Assessments
-Explore and investigate new solutions that contribute to security, resilience, scalability, and reliability
-Identify opportunities to improve security posture and implement accordingly
-Log and track any support or maintenance activities in the ticketing system
-Commitment to staying up to date and informed about relevant emerging / maturing technologies and standards
-Support the CIO and IT Department on projects as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field of study – or equivalent in education and work experience.
-3 years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer in a production environment, and an understanding of the complete SDLC or 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
-Experience working with and managing Windows and Linux server operating systems in a production environment
-Strong experience building and supporting production CI pipelines with Azure DevOps
-Strong experience with automation and scripting (specifically Bash and PowerShell)
-Familiarity and experience with Microsoft .NET and other web languages
-Excellent problem solving and empirical skills
-Ability to work collaboratively with software engineering and IT teams
-Strong communication and documentation skills
-Self-starting, team oriented, and able to set and prioritize tasks independently

Preferred experience:

AWS (including EC2, S3, Lambda), Kubernetes (EKS) and Containerization
