DLP Services is Hiring a CDL Driver (FT) Near Weslaco, TX
- POSITION TITLE: CDL Driver
- Location: Brownsville, TX
- FLSA: Non-Exempt
- Hire Pay: DOE
- Classification: Full-Time
JOB SUMMARY:
- Transport finished goods and raw materials
- Inspect vehicles and trailers before and after for mechanical items and safety issues; perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Ability to use an electronic logging device (ELD) to document and log work/rest periods, mileage spent driving, and retaining fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
- Commercial Drivers’ License
- 2 years’ experience working as a CDL driver with no legal or safety incidents on record
- May be required to unload the truck
- Perform other assigned duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Requires commercial driver's license.
- Receives supervision from the building manager.
- The position has formal assigned supervisory responsibility and authority.
- Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must have a current valid CDL license.
