Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret scientific concepts and approaches related to pain management and personalized medicine research.
• Interpret Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning research being proposed for Pain Management. Determine relevancy to personalized medicine for Pain Management.
• Determine features of importance for generating synthetic data to build pain management machine learning models.
• Research, write and edit scientific and technical information in a variety of formats, including presentations, articles, factsheets, one-pagers, posters and speeches, workshop summaries, reports, briefing materials, press releases, and content for digital media in online.
• Guide the use of data analytics and visualizations to ensure that the presentation of data provides opportunities for meaningful insights.
• Envision innovative ways of crafting data storytelling, including interactivity, dashboards, and applications readily available online, applying latest techniques and using latest technologies.
• Conduct data cleaning and perform descriptive and predictive statistical analysis of data synthesized for pain management project.
• Interpret qualitative and quantitative data and findings and identify critical factors such as data limitations, biases, sampling errors, and inconsistencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of DoD Health Informatics experience
• Excellent organizational and both oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with a team, execute tasks and projects in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ability to write and present effective project materials, presentations, status-reporting, etc.
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
