DLH is Hiring a Contract Administrator I Near Carolina, NC

FUNCTION: DLH seeks a qualified Contracts Administrator to support the Contracts department which handles life-cycle U.S. Government contract management for all divisions of the company. He or she will assists with contract management and oversight of DLH contracts including prime agreements, subcontracts, teaming agreements, and modifications. Helps enforce company and departmental procedures relating to contract compliance and business administration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains contract data base.
  • Drafts business correspondence as required.
  • Supports the subcontracting and procurement activities in solicitation development and execution of subcontracts during program lifecycle. Recommends subcontract types, identifies prime contract flow-downs, drafts subcontracts and consulting agreements.
  • As necessary, support the contract proposal review process.
  • Analyzes and evaluates customer Requests for Proposal and company and subcontractor proposals to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws/regulations, and with company policies and procedures when appropriate.
  • Assists project and business development staff in budget and cost proposal review and/or preparation as required and ensures compliance of same with RFP and other relevant requirements.
  • Assists project and business development staff with Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements.
  • Files and tracks customer contracts, P.O.s and subcontracts.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; three years of experience in similar positions.
  • Knowledge of government contracting regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications.
