The Branch Manager is responsible for directing and administering the operational and commercial lending efforts of the branch. He or she ensures that established policies and procedures are followed and oversees the provision of a full range of services to customers and prospective customers. He or she is also responsible for receiving, reviewing, and evaluating commercial and consumer loan requests. The Branch Manager meets with applicants to explain credit policies and to obtain loan information and documentation, monitors and reviews construction and development loans, and helps with collection activities. He/she ensures that customers are promptly and professionally served and provides general bank information; cross-sells services; and hires, supervises, trains, and assists staff when necessary. In addition, he/she is responsible for business development and marketing of existing and prospective accounts.
