Our business model is simple: Smash My Trash uses proprietary technology to reduce the waste volume in roll-off dumpsters by as much as 70%, saving business owners money, time, and aggravation. Our service significantly reduces vehicle CO2 emissions by decreasing the volume of hauling trucks on the road, and we reduce landfill space required by increasing the density of every haul. The Role:

You will be responsible for safely operating our trucks on a daily local route. Trucks are outfitted with a 3,000 lb. rolling drum on a boom that you operate to compact the contents of open-top waste containers (dumpsters), requiring your ability to operate the equipment at each customer's facility. You will be a key component of delivering customer satisfaction through your interaction and providing the customer benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 26,000 lb truck
• Skillfully operate the hydraulic controlled smashing drum equipment
• Properly track and document activity log via handheld device
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip using a checklist and log/communicate status
• Contribute to maintenance and cleaning of truck and machine
• Demonstrate complete reliability and accountability
• Interact with a friendly and entrepreneurial spirit with our customers

Requirements:

• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Strong work ethic with tremendous reliability and accountability
• Skilled with smartphone and able to use our apps to track routes and complete work activities
• Entrepreneurial spirit, interest in growing your career and responsibilities
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing
• Maintains a valid driver’s license
• Report directly to the owner/operator of “Smash My Trash®- Connecticut

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

License/Certification:
