Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in ensuring quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

***Must be willing to commute to all 3 locations depending on need of the schedule and providers****

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional patient care under the direction of healthcare providers

- Rooming patients and scribing visits in real time
- Perform clinical tasks, including answering phones, delivering pathology and lab results, assisting in office procedures including skin biopsies, and skin cancer surgeries.
- Administer medications and injections as directed including injectable and topical numbing
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems
- Handle medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing medical records

Qualifications:

- Dermatology experience preferred

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training not required but preferred
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant not required but preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical procedures
- Strong skills in medication administration and patient care
- Ability to provide medical administrative support efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members

- Experience with health insurance and practices not required but preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
