Diversified welding and Fabrication is Hiring a Machine Builder Near Holland, MI

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled builder to join our team. As a builder, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing various structures and marine equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in 12/24 volt electrical systems, hyd systems, the use of power tools and precision measuring equiptment. If you have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working with your hands, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents

- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure accurate measurements

- Perform welding operations to shape and fabricate materials

- Install electrical wiring and components according to specifications

- Assemble and disassemble industrial equipment

- Install HYD systems

- Operate power tools and other machinery safely and efficiently

- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet standards

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a builder or similar role

- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical documents

- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and systems

- Familiarity with power tools and machinery used in construction

- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as micrometers

- Basic understanding of schematics and industrial equipment

- Forklift certification is a plus

- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
