We are seeking a skilled Machine Assembly Technician with Way Scraping Experience to assemble our milling machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of machine assembly procedures.
• Good understanding of reading and interpreting design blueprints.
• Being a self-starter.
• Assembling a knee mill machine using the correct parts.
• Scraping the machine ways to ensure the machine parts are in tolerance and have proper fit.
• Checking the assembled machine to ensure it passes the inspection report.
• Using knowledge of safety standards to avoid workplace accidents.
• Machine Parts as needed.
• Transport materials through the production area with a hi-lo.
• Check and verify all parts that you run.
• Housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent required.
• 2 years machining assembly experience and 1 year of way scraping experience.
• Meet or exceed typical expectations for production, quality, and safety.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well with others in a team setting.
• Have appropriate reading and mathematical skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Machine Way Scraping Knowledge is a must.
• CNC Programming at the control is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
