Warehouse Associate (Pompano Beach)

Under the general direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for restocking inventory bin locations, picking out and packing orders for shipment on a daily basis.

Job Details:

• Responsible for accurately pulling product by type and quantity from stock locations using a pick ticket.
• Checking the pulled product against what is indicated on the ticket; neatly label any items that require labeling and pack items in the correct boxes to be shipped.
• When qualified, operating various equipment to facilitate warehouse tasks including wrapping machine, stand up forklifts, sit down forklifts and electric stock chasers (training & certification provided).
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety guidelines and regulations.
• Responsible for rotating between various jobs including pulling items to be packed, packing items, loading pallets, and wrapping skids.
• Adjust to changes in the Shipping Department to meet daily requirements.

Additional Requirements:

• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
• Physically able to perform tasks such as climbing stairs or a ladder and standing for long periods of time.
• Must be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 70 lbs.
• Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
• Must be able to pass additional screenings which include, but are not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal) and drug testing.
• Required to have a valid state issued ID
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Prior warehouse experience will make you stand out

Preferred Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 11:00am – 6:00pm EST
