Overview:
Chandelier Detroit, a premier restaurant and nightlife destination, is seeking experienced and passionate Barback to join our dynamic team. If you have a background in bar backing, upscale bar service, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting bartenders including gathering garnishes and syrups needed, restocking the beer coolers, restocking the liquor, refill ice wells, changing beer kegs, cleaning the mats/floor behind bar areas, emptying dishware from bus tubs behind the bar to the dish tank, keeping guests' water full. etc.
• Assisting bartenders by removing any used glassware, help KEEP the bar top area clean, assisting in washing and polishing glassware.
• Clean up spills, and broken glass promptly.
• Keeping the liquor cage, and beer freezer clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications:

• Being able to stand for long hours, and lift/carry up to 50lbs is essential.
• Good communications skills are necessary for coordinating with your bartenders, and food runners.
• Customer service skills.
• Must be detail oriented to maintain cleanliness and organization.
