DC4 is seeking experienced drywall finishers!

District Council #4 represents a growing force of 2,000 active and retired men and women in 33 counties of Western and Central New York. Our members work in the Finishing Trades as industrial and commercial painters, drywall finishers, wall coverers, glaziers, glassworkers, billboard posters, healthcare workers, newspress workers and service delivery groups along with many more exciting occupations.

Drywall Finisher Job Summary:

· Identify problem areas in drywall and address accordingly

· Tape and finish fasteners/ joints/ accessories

· Sand and checkout

Drywall Finisher Responsibilities:

· Complete tasks in a timely fashion

· Attention to detail

· Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your coworkers

Drywall Finisher Requirements

· Reliable Transportation

· Must own your own hand tools (knives, pan/hawk, etc.)

· Able to lift 50 lbs

· Able to work at heights (climb ladders, walk stilts, work off scaffolds, etc.)

· OSHA 10 preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $27.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
