* Maintaining high quality service to guests and potential guests through various experiences such as the check-in and check-out phases
* Posting of guest room charges
* Assisting with and anticipating possible guest needs
* Maintaining effective communication with guests, potential guests, co-workers, and other departments
* Listen to comments, criticism, and feedback from guests and take action where appropriate.
**Position Requirements**
* Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and in a detailed manner both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule understanding that the hotel is operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year including weekends and holidays.
* Be available to provide excellent service and take initiative to offer assistance throughout the hotel.
* Effective customer service skills.
* Strong inter-personal skills.
* Strong and professional telephone communication skills.
* Ability to be efficient in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer service.
**Experience**
Required: minimum of 1 year prior experience as a Guest Services Agent preferred but not required. Willing to train the right person.
* Preferred: Opera PMS experience
* Must be flexible; work weekends & holidays.
