We are currently seeking a construction supervisor to oversee all the tasks and actions at the construction job site.

Job description:

• The primary duty of the supervisor is to manage the entire on-site team (in-house and subcontractors) and ensure that everything is done correctly and meets compliance.
• 10-15 years experience running and supervising sites
• Solid knowledge of construction and remodeling trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, plastering, painting), practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety and applicable building codes.
• Familiarizing yourself with complete scope of project and immediately recognize and communicate change orders and how they affect budget and timeline
• Ability to read and understand architect and engineering plans
• Meet or exceed project budgets and schedules, including lining up subcontractors and pre-ordering long lead materials
• Meet weekly with owner and client manager to update timelines and budgets

Requirements

• Have a valid driver's license
• Must be neat in appearance and communicate to clients well
• Must be willing and able to wear the tool belt and perform on-site carpentry
• Knowledge of construction supplies: fasteners, lumber, and other building materials, and knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment.
• Must work well within a diverse group of workers
• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese language a plus but English must be 1st language
• Level-headed, logical thinker
• Ability to communicate with owners, architects, engineers, and laborers alike
• Current Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License
• OSHA certification a plus
• Positive, problem-solving attitude
• Computer proficiency a plus
